That configure test wasn't changed.
The same version worked for ClamAV 0.97.
How to handle this? I tried upgrading to newer version of Gcc ie.
4.4.6, but same error there also.
Look in config.log on why your GCC fails.
Look for a line like this in your config.log
configure:<somenumber>: checking for gcc bug PR27603
What follows that should show the error message, please post it here.
