Not being the manager for ClamAV anymore, but we now have four threads about the logo. Feedback is appreciated, but the mail threading breaking is driving me crazy!
I wonder how many here understand how threading works and how many mail clients screw it up? I'm using Thunderbird and just hit "Reply List" and it seems to maintain threading. I've also used the ancient Mulberry which had a nice Reply dialog that gave the option of starting a new thread for those cases where someone was asking a new question and just using a list message to get the list address.
For newcomers to email structure: Under the hood, an email has a References header that lists the previous message-ids in a thread. A client is supposed to use this to build the tree view for its message list. The Reply button should put the replied-to message ID in that header for a new message. Clients usually hide these headers unless you do a "view source".
