Someone working on Gnome was interested in making the Java language
capable of writing applications for Gnome in the same way MS has done
with their Java and Win32. Anyway, the point being there is part of
the job which is getting the AWT peers in GTK+ and someone pointed out
the classpath effort and Chris Toshok's involvement here. If you need
