Doc comments are nice, but they certainly don't match the level of
documentation found in the GNU C Library Manual.  I'd like to at least
have documentation that is as good as glibc's.

The free software community could also benefit from having a good free
Java language tutorial.

I don't consider doc comments, in and of itself, to be adequate.
