Taking someone else's already coded Java CORBA implementation sounds vastly
preferrable to coding one from scratch. Has the Java CORBA API stabilized
now that we are getting 1.2 release candidate packages from Sun? Actually,
we have got some time to wait for things here since CORBA is not my top
priority right now. It would probably be good to see what we can arrange
with the author of JacORB as far as the details of adopting it. Is there a
homepage for it somewhere? I don't see it listed on the GNU web site's Java
page. What is the licensing? Is the author interested in continuing
development or passing it on to someone else?
