Oops. I should have been more carefull when I wrote that.
The "they" I was refering to were some of the Apache JServ people.
Paul Siegmann once offered them to distribute our javax.servlet
with Apache JServ, but they basically rejected them because the were LGPLed.
(They wanted use Suns classes although they couldn't legally distribute them.)

But the Jakarta project is more than just Apache JServ so we will just wait
and see. (I have already said them that they could use our implementation
if Sun doesn't release their version as free software. And nobody can stop
them because it is free software :)
