I'd have to disagree. Like RMI, which is also part of the standard
Java class libraries it really doesn't matter where Swing lives as
long as that choice does not make possible contributors like
ourselves, Transvirtual and Cygnus uncomfortable. If it is going to
live in our tree I believe we'll want to set it up with a completely
separate build process that is easy for all groups to work into their
own setup. I think that it sucks that CVS can't deal with linking
multiple CVS repositories together to provide a single view with each
in its proper place but as far as I know it has no such
provision... at least it is free software. We'll figure something
out.
I've been in ClearCase training for the past couple of days... I think
it is showing... :)
