We're very careful to use the name "Java" in ways that are legally
permissible.  For instance, to quote
<URL:http://www.gnu.org/software/classpath/>:

    Classpath is a set of essential libraries for supporting the Java
    language.

My previous comments were in reference to Sun's claim that all clean
room implementations must fully implement the Java specification.
This is a bogus claim, which has nothing to do with their legitimate
claims over use of the name "Java".

We have not lost our clean room status, nor will we.  If you're
referring to Michel Emmel's previous post, Emmel has not contributed
any code to the Classpath code base.
