hi,
i am just following the
classpath project from a few weeks or so. I found that work is going on
most of the core API and is almost complete. However, i would like to know that
is there anyone who is working on the JFC - Swing (javax) classes.
Another area is the Servlet and
JSP API. Sun is working with Apache to produce a reference implementation of
these APIs under project Tomcat. The current release is 2.2. The thing is going
to be released with the Apache license. Does that mean that we would not have to
develop the servlet package? I would like to have an answer on this point from
Classpath lead developers. If the answer is no then i am pretty much interested
in developing the package.
Yet Another point is that : Is
the classpath project focussing only on the free implementation of Java Class
libraries or the entire Java technology ?
