we talked about putting together somehow a list of Mauve tests that all Classpath-based VMs should expect to pass, along with another (complementary) list of those tests a Classpath-based VM should expect to fail. Ideally, there would be separate list pairs for each release of classpath, perhaps stored in Classpath's CVS, and it would be fairly easy to keep the list updated as fixes to Classpath were put in.
I suggested one approach but it was never agreed to. It doesn't seem like there's been any progress since.
This would really be useful so I think we should still try to do it. I'm open to suggestions. The first step is to agree how exactly to do it. Even an imperfect solution is better than none at all.
