Hi all, working on the javax.print namespace and also starting with the internals I found that the javadoc of the Java Print Service API is mostly a word by word copy from the RFC documents of IPP 1.1 (RFC 2910, 2911).
As I also look at the specification source my documentation (although I try to explain in my own words) will almost every time sound the same like the one from SUN. So the question comes to my mind if we also can use or maybe quote from the RFC documents in our javadocs. This would make documentation easier and as its the specification also correct in every detail. For your convenience I attached the full copyright statement of the RFC documents. Opinions ?
