This one was posted previously on the list and we've been using it for a few months. It's worked
well for us.
Check Category: File Check
Check Type: File Date
Check Name: [whatever makes sense in your naming scheme]
File Path: SYSTEM_PROGRAMS \AVG\AVG8\updatecomps.cfg
Operator: later than
File Date: CAM date (midnight) - 7 days
Keep in mind that this will pass the client if AVG8 Free has just been installed (as the file date
will be new), but after the first week they will need to update the definitions in order to keep
passing. Hope that helps.
