TimB,

This is now a "known" bug according to TAC. We upgraded to 4.8.2
yesterday morning and ran into the same problem when our iPod/iPad devices
stopped working on the wireless network. Version 4.8.2 is misclassifying
all iPod/iPad devices and they are now utilizing the "ALL" Operating
System options instead of the "MAC_ALL" settings. The 'quick fix' was to
configure our General Setup->Agent Login "ALL" page to mimic what our
MAC_ALL settings were. We also had to re-configure the more specific
Operating Systems pages (WINDOWS_ALL, LINUX, MAC_OSX, etc) to reflect the
proper settings for our wireless network User Role such as Require Agent,
Show Network policy, etc.

Hope that helps ... Feel free to email me if you have anymore specific
questions.

We recently upgraded to 4.8.2 to get support for OSX 10.7 (Lion), and our
MAC_ALL workaround for iOS stopped working as well. It appears as though
iOS/Mobile Safari is no longer getting identified as MAC_ALL because I get
“Login page is not configured…” If I setup an ALL page I get a login
prompt, but then am presented w/ “Invalid provider name” error.

Has anyone seen this behavior or figured out how to get iOS working again?
