Hi Dan, I thought that snooping the loopback was basic functionality. Is there any reason why it does not work out of the box ?
I am not sure my system administrators would be OK to install clearview (this is a shared machine, I can login as root to snoop my app but not install system patches). Also, is there a little document that explains how the Solaris improvement process works ? It looks like there is at least : - the Solaris one buys with one's server - the Solaris updates/fixes one gets from the maintenance team - dtrace, clearview and other projects that provide new versions of their stuff without waiting for Solaris 11 And how does all this stuff mix with Sun's support ? thanks for your help and information, -- Pierre-Olivier Gaillard On 8/30/07, Dan Groves <Daniel.Groves at sun.com> wrote: > > Hi Pierre, > > Have you downloaded and installed the clearview bits?
