where does the above text come from?
I don't think it works when there is IPv6 i.e. there are two net
resources that would match the "select net physical=bge0".
So we should get that text fixed.

There aren't any current plans to introduce per-zone names for network
interfaces. Thus dladm would manage the global set of link names.
(Folks have suggested that it would be nice to be able to give each zone
a fixed name, but that means the global zone admin has to track the
mapping between the global names and the per-zone names.)
