You might be taking my suggestion a bit further than I had.
My suggestion was that the name be "zoneA-net0" whether viewed from the
global zone or the local zone.
Are you suggesting that when viewed from inside zoneA, the leading part
of the name is stripped?
(Reason I'm asking is that this is how the file system name space looks.)
