Franz, Thanks for your email.
Just to check, you downloaded the OVF image rather than EC2 AMI image? (I'm not aware of a way of getting AMI images into VMware but just wanted to double-check.) I haven't seen the issue you describe, but had one thought. The VM image is configured for a US keyboard on its console but maybe you have a different keyboard layout? Is it possible that the hyphen character is being interpreted differently from your keyboard? There are a couple of ways you could check this. * You could try typing "cw-aio" at the username prompt, and see how it's echoed back - is the hyphen character displayed as something else? (Obviously you can't log in with a username of "cw-aio" - this is just for troubleshooting.) * You could try ssh-ing into the virtual machine, as in this case the keyboard settings will come from your local machine. Please let me know how you get on, and I'll update the wiki if appropriate once we figure it out. Do you have an idea on this issue? Any help appreciated. BR Franz I get another error message during start: "Cannot connect the virtual device ide1:0 because no corresponding device is available on the host." This refers probably to the missing CD/DVD device on my notebook and should not be the reason for above mentioned issue. _______________________________________________ Clearwater mailing list [email protected] http://lists.projectclearwater.org/listinfo/clearwater _______________________________________________ Clearwater mailing list [email protected] http://lists.projectclearwater.org/listinfo/clearwater
