Urvika,

Thanks for your email. It's good to hear that you've successfully turned up a
multi-node setup.

In the case of Sprout, it is raising error logs because it can't resolve
mmtel.test.com. mmtel.<home-domain> is the default domain name for the basic
MMTEL TAS that can be installed as part of Sprout. Normally, we'd expect
Sprout to recognize this domain name and not try to do a DNS lookup but in this
case it does not appear to be doing so.

Is it possible that the MMTEL TAS package is not installed? What does
"dpkg-query -s sprout-mmtel-as" report? (If it reports that it's not
installed, "sudo apt-get install sprout-mmtel-as" should fix it.)

If the MMTEL TAS package is installed, it's possible Sprout is failing to load
the plugin for some reason. In my sprout logs, I see the following logs, which
show the plugin being loaded - do your logs include this?

29-12-2014 14:37:30.869 UTC Status pluginloader.cpp:82: Attempt to load
plug-in /usr/share/clearwater/sprout/plugins/sprout_mmtel_as.so
  29-12-2014 14:37:30.870 UTC Status mmtelasplugin.cpp:87: Creating connection
to XDMS homer.mirw.cw-ngv.com:7888
  29-12-2014 14:37:30.870 UTC Status httpconnection.cpp:119: HttpConnection for
server homer.mirw.cw-ngv.com:7888
  29-12-2014 14:37:30.870 UTC Status httpconnection.cpp:120: Response timeout:
500
  29-12-2014 14:37:30.870 UTC Status pluginloader.cpp:106: Loaded sproutlet
mmtel using API version 1

In the case of Homestead, it is raising error logs when they should really be
lower-severity (probably info). The condition you're hitting is that one of
the SIP clients was trying to register with authentication username
"6505550903" rather than "[email protected]". Homestead looked this up in
the Cassandra data store but did not find it (and so reported an error). I've
raised https://github.com/Metaswitch/cpp-common/issues/223 to track lower the
severity of this error.

Please let me know how you get on.

Thanks,

Matt

Subject: [Clearwater] Errors while initiating a Call

Hi ,

We made a multi node IMS setup, each component as a single virtual machine .

We are able to make call from one Zoiper linux client to another, the call is
successful.

But we could observe errors in Sprout and homestead while making a call.

The following are the error logs:

 Error Log in Sprout:
