Hi Dennis,

It sounds like your shared_config hasn't been shared around the cluster yet, or
the underlying etcd cluster hasn't yet formed. Which node do you run
upload_shared_config on? Does this report any errors? Can you check whether the
etcd cluster is healthy (run 'sudo clearwater-etcdctl cluster health')?

If you're not using our automatic configuration sharing option (detailed here:
http://clearwater.readthedocs.org/en/latest/Old_Manual_Install/index.html) then
you need to set up the shared_config file before you install the Ellis package.

Subject: [Clearwater] Numbers provisioned in Ellis UI do not have domain

Hi Elli,

I followed the Manual installation
(http://clearwater.readthedocs.org/en/latest/Manual_Install/index.html).
I tried recreating the Ellis twice but still i encountered the same issue.
So on the third recreate of Ellis i decided to try and execute the
create_numbers.py and there the second batch of numbers do have domain attached
to it.

But before the issue of no domain occured, After installation of Ellis,
mysql_process status is always Execution Failed.
Everytime that happens i kill all the process of mysqld untill the
mysql_process stabilized to Running. Then i execute the create_numbers.py
script and the issue of no domain will occur.

Regards,
Dennis

Hi Dennis,

How are did you install Ellis? Are you using our new automatic configuration
sharing
(seehttp://clearwater.readthedocs.org/en/latest/Automatic_Clustering_Config_Sharing/index.html
 for more details)?

It looks like create_numbers.py was run on Ellis before the
shared_configuration had been fully set up (so /etc/clearwater/shared_config
was missing the home_domain setting).

Hi,

Checking on the Ellis database from number i can see that the numbers are
created without domain attached to it.

Then creating again a different range of numbers and there i can see that the
second batch of numbers already have domain attached to it.

Then creating a new number in Ellis UI now have a domain.
Basic call, call redirect and call barring were successfully tested.
