The release for Project Clearwater sprint "Vicomte de Bragelonne" has been cut. The code for this release is tagged as release-89 in github.
This release, we've greatly simplified our config sharing model. Now, all you need to do when changing /etc/clearwater/shared_config is run the upload_shared_config script on a single node, and any changes will automatically (and safely) be shared and picked up across your Clearwater deployment. We'll be putting out a blog post on this soon as well - check out http://www.projectclearwater.org/latest-news/ for more details. We added the ability for Project Clearwater nodes to (optionally) use RADIUS authentication for SSH login. The installation and configuration process can be found in our documentation at https://clearwater.readthedocs.org/en/stable/Radius_Authentication/index.html<https://clearwater.readthedocs.org/en/latest/Radius_Authentication/index.html>. This feature requires a RADIUS server in your network to perform authentication; information on setting one up can be found at http://freeradius.org/.<http://freeradius.org/> This release includes the following bug fixes: * Bono doesn't work in split networks (https://github.com/Metaswitch/sprout/issues/1291) * cassandra_plugin doesn't fix up /etc/cassandra/cassandra-env.sh for IPv6 (https://github.com/Metaswitch/clearwater-cassandra/issues/67) * cqlsh can't connect to cassandra on pure IPv6 network when rpc_address is defaulted (https://github.com/Metaswitch/clearwater-cassandra/issues/66) * IPv6 address in cluster_settings is missing square brackets (https://github.com/Metaswitch/clearwater-infrastructure/issues/278) * memcached infrastructure script doesn't enable memcached (https://github.com/Metaswitch/clearwater-infrastructure/issues/240) * Auto-generated code should be clearer about alarm numbers (https://github.com/Metaswitch/clearwater-etcd/issues/214) * check_cluster_state displays different info when sudo'd (https://github.com/Metaswitch/clearwater-etcd/issues/167) To upgrade to this release, follow the instructions at http://clearwater.readthedocs.org/en/latest/Upgrading_a_Clearwater_deployment/index.html. If you are deploying an all-in-one node, the standard image (http://vm-images.cw-ngv.com/cw-aio.ova) has been updated for this release. Thanks, Chris
