Midimistro, In our IMS testing, I had to purchase a license for the Perimeta software. Perimeta acts as a P-CSCF (AKA-MD5 authentications), and also performs the transcoding that you will also need to be able to communicate with most gateways. For your second question, you will need at a minimum Dime, Sprout, Homer, Ellis, Vellum, and DNS. For what it is worth….Clearwater works GREAT for a voLTE IMS. Lastly, not sure about early IMS.
