As I have said, I don’t know about the Orange cloudify repo. However, I see no
reason why Clearwater packages should need to installed on the DNS server.

Mark.

Hi Mark,
Thanks for your response and apologies for my late reply. Bind node is separate
in my cluster but I'm not sure if clearwater packages should also be installed
on it or not (Orange repo installs some clearwater packages on bind node as
well).

Hi Junaid,

I’m afraid I don’t know much about the Orange cloudify repo. I would suggest
running bind9 on a separate node to the Clearwater nodes if that is possible.

Sorry not to have a better solution,

Hi,
I'm Junaid and have deployed Clearwater vIMS using Cloudify
(https://github.com/Orange-OpenSource/opnfv-cloudify-clearwater). Initially, I
deployed it using the repo 'repo122' as mentioned at
https://github.com/Orange-OpenSource/opnfv-cloudify-clearwater/blob/master/docs/clearwater.md,
Line#53, which worked fine and I was able to make calls and run stress test. I
have now changed the repo to 'stable' and tried to re-deploy vIMS but the
installation of Bind node was failing since Cloudify installs
clearwater-management alongside bind9 package on the Bind node.

It looks like to me that clearwater packages in 'stable' repo have some
conflict with 'bind9' package. I have provided more details to a GitHub issue
(https://github.com/Orange-OpenSource/opnfv-cloudify-clearwater/issues/23) in
Clearwater cloudify repo but the issue appears to be with Clearwater packages
or bind9.
Does anyone else has faced a similar issue? Any help would be much appreciated.

Kind Regards,
Junaid
