I am using version 1.2.3, the current version of Clementine provided by
debian stable.

There is a strange problem with dynamic playlists that filter on the song
library. For example, I have a smart playlist whose filter is:
  Play count == 0
       OR
  Rating == 5 stars
and "Put songs in a random order" is selected.

However, even though I have many dozens of songs rated five stars,
Clementine is recycling the same ~30 songs.

Looking at the database, I see that the rating for all the songs that
Clementine is selecting is 1.1. The other 5-star songs have a rating of 1.0.

I suppose that I could manually edit the database so that all the songs
currently rated 1.0 are changed to 1.1, but I obviously don't want to have
to remember to do that every time I give a song 5 stars.
(And in any case it isn't obvious why *some* 5-star songs were rated 1.1
rather than 1,0 as all the others were.)

A similar problem: even though there a couple of dozen songs to which I
have not listened, and they have a playcount of zero in the database, they
are never actually selected by dynamic playlist filter.

How do I get the smart playlist to correctly select randomly amongst the
5-star songs and those that I have never played?
