Thank you, Juanjo. The Clementine installation completed normally but the user interface never becomes visible. I can right-click on an mp3 file and select "Open with Clementine" and the file will play. The music continues to play after the selected song plays. The music plays my Clementine library in shuffle mode as I had set it when the interface was accessible. There are no clementine processes visible when is run ps -all.
I have the same problem with another application. It is back-up software. The software runs but I cannot access the UI.
