I have a Dell laptop with Ubuntu 16.04 preinstalled. Installed Clementine, *love* it. I was a big Amarok fan and this is a worthy successor.
The problem: Whenever I try to play an .m4a file I get a message saying "Your Gstreamer installation is missing a plugin." I've installed the good, bad, and ugly plugin packages. I found something that suggested upgrading to a newer version of Clementine, so I upgraded to 1.3.1-333-gf854bc5, no joy. Checking for plugins with gst-inspect-1.0, I see a FLAC decoder, but no m4a decoder. The only line in the output that references m4a is typefindfunctions: audio/x-m4a: m4a Any suggestions on where to get an m4a plugin would be appreciated. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Clementine Music Player" group.
