Using Clementine v1.3.1 on Linux Mint v19.1 Mate. I have been using Clementine for some years now and find it an excellent program. For me it is the best of the music programs. However, suddenly I have a problem.
All my music files are in /media/zed/Data/Music and the Library file in Clementine is pointed to that location. Recently I created several new folders in /media/zed/Data/Music and copied music files (<title>.ogg) into them. Launched Clementine and chose the option Tools - Update changed library folders, followed by Tools - Do a full library rescan. The folders I created do not appear in the Library list but all the tunes added to those folders appear under the Unknown folder. In the hope that possibly the changes needed a re-boot of the computer, I did so but nothing changed.
