How are you determining the total number of songs the smart playlist All tracks? You can probably find a few in various artists I check files with Easy TAG & Exaile [not fussy about changing folders] before I put them in my music folder, After the joy of trying to find files I just added that seemed to disappear, it's always the metadata is not quite right I use EZ mp3Gain as a stand alone I like GmusicBrowser, it's fun to play with all the different looks
