Hello and Thanks for the reply Garthhh, just as I said in the opening post I check how many mp3s are in my collection using catfish (it's a file search app) then in Clementine the all tracks list is short of a number of songs from that total number of songs in collection and that includes various artist also . I know about easytag have used it for many years never a problem using easytag and yes Gmusicbrowser is great for that tough choice also considering I can set up Gmu to play album after album in random order, back on topic the (amount of) songs in the data-base don't all show up in clementine's all tracks and searching the metadata and tags is IMHO not needed as they show up in Gmu but not clementine, looking for or finding the missing songs would be far too time consuming (large-ish collection), There has to be a way to get Clementine to recognize and add those missing songs, I'm sure I'm just missing seeing an obvious simple way to do this, Might have to use Gmusicbrowser more often, shame :confused:
