All,

The commits shown in Git are very recent for Master--this week in fact. So,
there are people doing work. Yet if one changes Master to 1.3.2, there are
no commits since 2016. And the last **public** release of downloadable
versions is 1.3.1 from April, 2016!! That disconnect is, well. large. There
are binary builds available for developmental versions, but there is no
date/time stamp shown on the web page so one can judge build date. There is
also no provided roadmap for releases either long-term or short-term.

I think it a legit question to ask "What is the future of Clementine?" Is
it in long-term maintenance mode (given no public version release in over
three years)? Can we expect, at the least, bug-fix releases (x.y.z.aaaa,
etc.) if no major/minor releases?

Mind, I have no complaints about the version of Clementine I use, 1.3.1. It
has only one frustrating issue on Windows (the long-known file-system
delete problem). Well, I did have one very bizarre issue happen twice but
it was so odd that no one took the bait to respond to my post.

Otherwise Clementine remains as it has been for a very long time, simply
the best designed music player one can use. So, no complaint here, just
curious about what the future may hold.

Regards,

Guy Stalnaker
