I guess bugs and security issues nowadays, it does what it needs to do after all. I get occasional rebuilds via Debian testing (bullseye) to the very latest versions and they eventually feed down to Debian derivatives such as the Ubuntu family. Windows users are indeed going to miss out on this as it relies on it being packaged by interested OS maintainers or users. If you have the relevant compilers available you can build it yourself as I have done occasionally here. Windows users may struggle to get the comilers though. You could request (wishlist bug) a new binary build on Github if you feel you are missing out on something. Compiling from source for Linux users is fairly easy. Get the code (if you haven't already): git clone https://github.com/clementine-player/Clementine.git && cd Clementine Compile and install: cd bin cmake .. make -j8 sudo make install -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Clementine Music Player" group.
