Just to clarify. VLC is a media player only. It is open source
and stable with good sound quality and a excellent
eq/compresser. However, it does nothing for library
management/organization. For that, I use MusicBrainz Picard: <https://picard.musicbrainz.org/>

Yes, I have tried 1.3.2 – it works for me. Already not bad. :)
As for VLC, I will try to use it as music player and music
library manager (and everything related).
But is it possible to make 1.3.9 work *at all* on 10.13?
(Because 1.3.2 -> 1.3.9 == large gap in features)

Build 1.3.1 - 611 is the last version to work on OS 10.13
(that 1.3.2 release candidate is like four years old) and it
crashes often.
Since there's way too much 32 bit software I rely on,
upgrading to OS 10.14 isn't an option. Therefore, I've pretty
much switched to VLC as it's much, much more stable (although,
losing the Clementine remote has been rough as my place of
business has relied on it heavily)

I have macOS 10.13.5 and would like to use Clementine. But
latest versions of it (1.3.9-xxx) do not run on this macOS.
Only 1.3.2 runs on it.
Which latest version of Clementine *(with latest features)* runs on
10.13.5?
P.S.: Answer "Just update your OS" doesn't go. ;)
