Hello! Any news? I'm strongly interested in this, not precisely knowing how to deal with it. I've also that issue "invalid signature: blob".I installed Clementine on Knoppix 8.6.1. Access to Spotify is decisive to me. I tried it also on Ubuntu. Only to avoid difficulties with ppa. To try that workaround to reinstall Clementine from ppa:me-davidsansome/clementine. Also I will try on Debian because Knoppix is made of Debian packages but not determined for stable/testing. I wish to see substantial, helping answers to your posting.
