HI!

III have to boot to linux to provide you exact info about release and linux
version. But I tried it about 3 months ago with Ubuntu 18.04,
downloaded and compiled latest release from git, then I was forced to
manually install blob-spotify.

Nevertheless I got the same result. Spotify still signing in.......
It´s a shame that Clementine doesnt support Spotify anymore, bcs default
Spotify player s**ks.

I also find a drastic solution to compile libspotify by myself, but it
wants developer key, so no luck with this also.

I spent with testing different OS (linux distro, win) and different
releases of Clementine about 4 days with no luck.

Even when I manage to login to Spotify it only shows top tracks , no search
or other functions.

Hopefully someday, somebody will develop great Spotify player, I am willing
even pay for it. But so far I dont know about anything like that.

Josef
