Yes, absolutely. After an application restart (with the same playlist), everything returns to normal for about a week. Note that clementine is the basis of my sound system and it plays something (either mp3 or streaming) 24/7 continuously.
Pausing play and restarting doesn't help. Stopping play and restarting doesn't help. While play is interrupted, the display at the bottom which usually shows the amount of time in the playlist switches to a "buffering x%" display.
