On my current build (so, gcc-4.2.0 and 2.6.22 kernel headers) I see a lot of these messages from coreutils, and some from gzip. There are also messages that the warning can be disabled with -fgnu89-inline. Probably, upstream will do something about these warnings before gcc decides to upgrade it to an error.
