I may look at it later and see what all needs to change. I think the main differences from 4.8.3 to 4.9 for specs is additional targets and they changed the layout of gcc configs if I recall. I have the specs for pure64 and 4.9.2. Both the 32bit book and multilib share the same specs patch if I'm correct, too.
