Hi William, I used eglibc 2.19 instead of 2.18 + patches from clfs book. The libc subdirectory is what I needed from the 2.19 source. With you arguments, it compiles without problems. The only exception is when you us 2.6.34.1 kernel headers, because a problem was introduced there in asm/ptrace.h Thanks,
Reinoud. -----Original Message----- From: clfs-support-boun...@lists.cross-lfs.org [mailto:clfs-support-boun...@lists.cross-lfs.org] On Behalf Of William Harrington Sent: Sunday, May 11, 2014 3:25 PM To: Gary Greene Cc: CLFS Support Subject: Re: [Clfs-support] Having issues building GLIBC 32bit On May 11, 2014, at 5:19 PM, Gary Greene wrote: > I was hoping to avoid systemd, but I'll try with the 3 series book and > see if that gets me going. You only need to check the commands for cross-tools chapter to see if there are any changes made since we moved to glibc 2.199 and upgraed some packages. And maybe any other package upgrades in cross-tools. We also fixed a bunch of issues when the host has a package installed which would affect cross-tools or tools chapters.
