The Asian Development Bank invites you to its official side event at CoP11/MoP1 in Montreal: Enabling CDM in Asia and the Pacific: ADB’s Renewable Energy, Energy Efficiency and Climate Change (REACH) Program. The event will be held on Monday, 28 November 2005, 6:00-8:00 pm in Room 5 of the Palais des Congrès de MontrĂ©al. The event will be preceded by a cocktail reception from 5:30 pm outside Room 5.

The side event will showcase climate change/CDM projects in 18 countries under ADB’s REACH Program, supported by funds from Canada, Denmark, Finland and the Netherlands. Speakers from ADB and project partners from developing member countries will present cases and share their experiences and successes under REACH-funded technical assistance activities ranging from CDM projects in China to micro-hydro applications in Indonesia. ADB will also brief the audience on its new Carbon Market Special Initiative.
