My only comment is regarding the several assertions that "if you don't like X you won't like Clojure." I'd just like to point out that when I started learning Clojure there was not any lisp that I really liked, and I was not convinced I wanted a functional programming language. In the process of learning Clojure I have found that there *is* a lisp I can really like, and that FP (at least the non-dogmatic form that Clojure champions) is very good and worth the trouble to learn well. Perhaps your statements can be adjusted to allow for the opinions of your readers to grow and change. Thanks for the write-up, it was interesting to read about your experiences and opinions. --Chouser --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Clojure" group.
