Hi, your post inspired me to install a debian on my (rooted) G1. I was able to install emacs, git, screen, openjre, clojure-mode and screen. Surprisingly, the whole setup is even quite usable, control and meta are bound to the pressable trackball and the camera key and important clojure chars like []{}' are all accessible through a single modifier key. The most limiting factor is the small usable main memory making things slow. Running (reduce + (range 1000)) takes ~0.8s, how does the n900 compare. And have you tried emacs on it? Finally my phone is a real, albeit slow computer, but I guess that will improve soon. Regards, Erik -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Clojure" group.
