I will release an open source version of Gwt-Clojure next week. My approach to building web applications is based on "frame technology" which has been used commercially in mainframe code generation for nearly 30 years. You build a library of data structures (frames) that describe an application and then send it to a code generator to write the application. I have used Clojure to build my frame engine. Gwt-Clojure was developed to make scripting easier on the client side. In summary, my approach is to build web apps 100% in Lisp.
