I used a Mac in the past and I understand your frustration with MacPorts. I've not used Clojure on OSX but if you're bored you could try Homebrew which is an alternative to MacPorts. http://mxcl.github.com/homebrew/ Then: brew install clojure Hopefully you'll get a more useful replies later.
