That said, it is our intention to look at minimizing the base footprint as far as we can, but that's not top priority at the moment. It is unlikely we can get all the way to zero, but I hope we can do better. Until then, we won't compare favorably on very small programs. But the fact is the core lib doubled in size without significantly increasing our base, so whole-program optimization is definitely working for us.
