Interesting! (Another possible way to get REPL-like development in Java is an alternative compiler like Janino <http://docs.codehaus.org/display/JANINO/Home>. See for example this discussion <http://comments.gmane.org/gmane.comp.java.clojure.user/929>. This, however, seems to result (sometimes) in slower runtime, I guess because Janino does not do some of the optimisations that standard compilers do.)
