For any dev in banking, I just wrote Core Banking And The Mechanics Of Money Creation <http://thebox.ghost.io/core-banking-and-the-mechanics-of-money-creation/>. I wanted to distill my thinking around money, its systems, and the banking function. The post doesn't contain any computer code. But I did want to outline the systems in which we have to build these banking and financial functions.
Specifically, I thought that Lucas Cavalcanti & Edward Wible (in their Clojure Conj 2014 talk <https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7lm3K8zVOdY>) were right on the money in describing banking as an information process. And I think the future of banks should look a lot more like software companies. So what is the context and constraints within which such banking software must operate? Feedback is welcome. Cheers.
