Steven,

I am now using 1.2.2-14. I can see the "expert" mode. I tried imaging to
a blank drive and one with the an image already loaded, but the drive
partitions were not adjusted for the larger drive using only -k.

Which version of Clonezilla live are you using ?
 From Clonezilla live 1.2.2-14, there is such an option you can choose 
after "Start Clonezilla".
Well, it's not to difficult, you can just tell them to accept those 
default values except "-k1".
