Dear all,

I hope someone can help me out on this one: when I restore a clonezilla
image to a completely new harddisk, the disk is accessible (USB attached,
or as a secondary harddisk) but windows refuses to boot from it.
When creating an image, I leave all options at default values. I created
both partition and device images.
When restoring on a blank disk, I restore from the device image and leave
all options at their default.
After restore, windows refuses to boot.

When I follow the exact same procedure on a harddisk which had windows on
it before, windows boots.

Please tell me what I'm doing wrong.

Thanks, Jürgen
