Clonezilla supports the disk device name like /dev/nvme0n1, so maybe
it's due to the Linux kernel from 20220620-jammy does not support your
hardware.
Please try different versions of Clonezilla live, e.g., 3.0.2-9 or
20220729-kinetic:

provide something similar to /dev/sda so I could select from source.
I can't use AHCI or something like that either in my UEFI.
It detected the partions but not the equivalent of /dev/sda for NVME.
I hope you all know what this means because it is kinf of a foreign
gizmo to me.
I joined this list because I think clonezilla would be awesome for
making backups, and I eagerly await a version where I can try a backup
with NVME.
I am using luckybackup rsync GUI and wasabi for the time being.
