Hi,

I have apparently successfully used Clonezilla live to create a disk image. However, there are two issues that seem to prevent me from restoring the image:

i) Whilst it successfully mounts the disk that holds the image, it doesn't see the particular directory in which the image sits. Other directories that  are on the disk are also not recognized.
Did you save the image using saveparts, and you want to restore the image to a whole disk? Please Boot Clonezilla live, mount your image repository, and enter command line prompt to run:
1. sudo -i
2. df -h
3. mount
4. tree -h /home/partimag

Please show the results of 2-4.

Thanks.

Steven

ii) The menu only shows the options to save disks or partitions - the restore options are not present.

I used clonezilla-live-3.1.0-22-amd64.iso to create a bootable USB.

I'd appreciate any suggestions as to what is happening here, because at present Clonezilla is not a tool that I could rely on.

Phil
