Yes, we snapshot the logical volume live and copy it off as basically a full
backup. I'm not so worried about us since we have our own tweaked branch, but I
don't really have any idea how many others use clvm now or are using the qcow2
snapshots, however inconvenient. If all officially supported platforms ship
with a working version of qemu-img then it may be safe to disable the check.
Otherwise it depends on how many currently use it and will be upset if it stops
working versus how many platforms will try to take a snapshot with an old
qemu-img and fail.
